NaNoWriMo – Day Three

04 Nov

I thought I was going to do badly, especially since I ended up baby-sitting my two hyperactive nephews last night.  But I seemed to get me a second wind, and sailed in to a midnight wordcount of 6512.  That’s nearly 3000 word in one day, and a busy one at that.

I am starting to appreciate the value of many small writing sessions.  All those 100s and 50s during the day add up.

Wow! You’re actually doing NaNo… And you manage to do it and work and babysit, and all that… I cannot say more that wow…
I have lots of tests nowadays… Maybe I’ll do NaNo in December… =)

    It’s really not that hard.

Okay, I lie. It is that hard.

    But it’s also that rewarding!

December is NaNoFiMo aka National Novel Finishing Month. People try to finish a novel they started before in the month of December. Some use it for NaNoWriMo that they didn’t quite make, some people just use it to come back to an old novel they abandoned before.

Sounds like fun, but I’m always too tired after November to even look at a pen for three months.
